How you can save this forest?

Helping our Community, save our wildlife. Once gone it will be gone forever.

Please have a look at the Planning Application LA02/2021/0014/F

Islandmagee at the NI Planning Portal

This planning application is now with the Planners and a decision is imminent in coming weeks. Every opinion counts so if you feel strongly for nature and for trees, you have the chance to make your voice heard and make a difference. We can all live together. We can have the best of both worlds: a modern new school and nature for children and people to enjoy.  Nature does not have a voice – Please speak up and make your voice heard now.

Please read our Tree Petition either in Word format (editable) or PDF (non editable)

Sign this petition now before it is too late!

You may simply forward this document alongside your name and choice of submission to planning@midandeastantrim.gov.uk or posting it to: Planning Office, Mid and East Antrim Council, Planning Office, Silverwood Business Park, 190 Raceview Road, Ballymena BT42 4HZ or email them your own comments.

Remember to enter your address to ensure your comments are fully considered by Planners. "I have reviewed the planning application LA02/2021/0014/F and I wish to submit my comments as follows (please delete or tick as required):

Tick your chosen option below or feel free to word your own objection to the cutting of trees:

1.

I have serious concerns about this Planning Application in terms of the amount of tree loss. I urge the planners to retain more trees than those stated on the Planning Application and ensure that sufficient trees are preserved to ensure a continuous section to form a natural boundary and that the wild habitat is not totally lost, in particular to the South and East of the site.

2.

I object to this Planning Application due to the amount of tree loss. I urge the planners to retain more trees than those stated on the Planning Application and ensure that sufficient trees are preserved to ensure a continuous section to form a natural boundary and that the wild habitat is not totally lost, in particular to the South and East of the site."
